Camera Brown

Camera Brown
I uploaded a new pack of Polaroid film in my Polaroid camera, why the polaroids out brown?

Literally, brown. Almost like this, I http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3111/3129400465_f9fd1bdd0c.jpg?v=0 loaded it correctly and I've taken two pictures, both of which only went brown. Why?

Yes, check the expiration date on the box. Polaroid is the problem really does not last long after expiration date. Once you take the picture, the image will last for decades … but the film itself is not used will not last for long time. Can be stored in a refrigerator and maybe it will last another 2 years or so (maybe 3 at most), but that's all. Polaroid is what is called a "Integral instant film." The way it works is that each picture has chemicals in it. When taking the picture, the camera is expelled and the image passes through the rollers, which extends to the chemicals inside to develop the film. If you do not use the film for a long time, finally chemicals to dry and just not work anymore. So when you take a picture, do not grow well or can not be any image at all. I hate to say, but probably the entire cartridge has gone wrong. How old is the movie? You can freeze regular film (such as 35mm film) and will last for many years after the expiration date … but unfortunately, Polaroid instant film will not last that long only because the substances chemical just go wrong.
