Samsung Impression Review

Samsung Ultra impression is one of the many phones AT & T dropped a couple of weeks ago that has a full QWERTY keyboard. Printing out from the rest as a display device that uses a full touch screen AMOLED. The phone is like many smart phone features and has a very slick user interface that reacts without problems to the order of the user. Honesty is a phone with great feature, however, experience in the use made me feel I was using a smartphone very limited, which could be the point. As a result, I was comparing the impression that the iPhone, not because the iPhone is so great, but simply because the iPhone is the direct competitor for printing, especially in the price of $ 199. People searching for printing to think long and hard a needs analysis before buying this device

Design, style and user interface

The device is smooth and curved. It feels good in your hand and weighs enough to give the impression of quality. The subtle chrome accents make the print stand out, and features small, such as a proximity sensor to turn off the screen when near your face, add to the overall quality of printing.

TouchWiz Samsung in printing is fast and fun to use. Drag widgets at the bottom of the spring side was fun, and variety of widgets kept me entertained. My favorite is the widget to cycle through your images and assign a new fund. Eliminates many steps that other phones must pass. There is also a dedicated widget for synchronization Bluetooth which makes it easy, and even gives a graphical representation of cooling devices nearby making a quick and easy selection. The player has been quite simple, and expansion slot for microSD cards allows additional 16GB of storage, an up-the iPhone no.

The display

Anything else that offers this phone, the first thing to note, and the biggest selling point is the AMOLED screen. It looks absolutely beautiful in any light, including direct sunlight. The colors are vibrant and makes the details pop on the screen. The screen is 3.2 "wide TFT touch screen and offers support for 256K colors 240 x 400 resolution. The screen is the real draw of this device. AMOLED is brighter, has better viewing angles, and consumes less energy than previous generations of displays. The capacitive touch screen is real, and offers haptic feedback to the user each time you make a selection or scroll through the menus. The problem I have with the screen is the thin plastic that is used as the main interface: line too easily from objects that are not even sharp enough to scratch other phone screens. If you buy this phone, get a screen cover.

Phone

Printing is a good phone. Call quality was excellent on both ends. The signal is usually strong in my area never dropping below 3 bars, and the reception was clear and sounded good. The speaker in the printing works well. Its use on the road, the caller still could hear me, and I could hear and understand well.

The Internet and web browser

AT & T MediaNet browser and 3G connection was relatively fast. The browser offers a good imitation of the complete website, and pages load quickly, usually within about 30 seconds. Not bad for a device without need for WiFi (Which reminds me, let Samsung and AT & T, can not give us a good feature of the phone and then deny us WiFi). The browser can be used QWERTY keyboard, touch screen or a full keyboard that appears when the device is closed. Both keyboards worked well (but more on that later). Accelerometer was browsing in portrait or landscape as possible, but there is something in the browser, especially when compared to the iPhone just does not seem so refined. The browsing experience the web was not bad, and considering that I'm used to use the Samsung Instinct (which many of the phone functions and programs appear to mimic), printing was a step above what I lived.

Camera

I'll admit, the 3.0MP camera is good for a Cell Phone camera. Takes high quality photos that are not too soft, due to noise reduction, and the colors are vibrant AMOLED screen. The phone also has a decent editing suite and photo enhancement features that, in fact, are surprisingly easy to use. When I had to crop an image, or change to fit the shutter as sepia tone, which was simple to do, and I was able to accomplish what I needed in a few clicks of the screen. Borders on a lot when I realized that most of these functions of the camera are things that I never use or need, whenever I have a point and shoot and iPhoto. The 3.0MP camera is the same problem that all other camera phones do: can not replace a good point and shoot. However, these photo-editing features are certainly a step in that direction. I am sure that one day, they manage to cram enough sensors in a camera phone, and then will be useful to have a full suite of photo editing on your phone, but until then this camera is still a last resort to take pictures drunk party.

Battery

The talk time this phone ended up being about 3 hours or more, and have not yet been able to run down the battery only in standby mode. The advertising is expected about 250 hours, or about 10 days, which seems to be sufficiently accurate.
