Ion Battery Fuji

Ion Battery Fuji
What are the benefits of having a point and shoot camera powered by AA batteries?

One of my new cams (Nikon P50) functions AA .. A part of me likes this and part of me does not. A part of me that remembers the battery out and dies. If I could just pop AA a new set. The other part of me likes to go out and buy batteries. I suppose I could do rechargables to save money .. The other part of me liked when inserted into my old Sony Cybershot and load. Easy, no-brainer. BUT the internal battery so it is used and lost. My other camera I'm testing, the Fuji Z20fd has a Lithium Ion Battery is removable, rechargeable, so you can have several batteries .. The other thing that worries me with AA batteries .. How life compare with what little lithium ion battery? Thanks in advance for the answers!

Best of camera batteries is that if you're away from home if your camera dies you do not have to worry about finding a plug-in to charge it for an hour or so. All you have to do is pop in some new carry in your bag and you're good go for a longer time.
