Where I can find a movie camera Kodak Brownie 8mm film produced in the 1950s?

My grandmother bought a movie camera 8 mm Kodak Brownie in the early 1950s and gave me some time. Do any of you know where I can find some movie it? It is a tower of 8 mm f/1.9 model … do not know what that means, but thought it would be useful to know. And also, where you could find a projector for it?

Good for you! It is always good to see people who appreciate the value instead of drooling over the latest hard drive cameras. Kodak has many stocks open from 8 mm. You can read about them on their website, or you can look at their catalog of products here that also includes ordering information: http://www.kodak.com/US/en/motion/products/catalog/?id = 0.1.6.6 & Lc = en Here is a great website about the smaller film formats: http://www.littlefilm.org/ As for his camera, f/1.9 means that the most comprehensive opening it can open up to f/1.9. In other words, it means you can afford a large amount of light to shoot in less light. I'm not sure about where can find a projector, but most likely on eBay. However, you may consider getting your film transferred to video, preferably high definition. It will cost more, but will be more versatile and convenient in the long term. Hope this helps!
