Should I buy the Canon XSi (450D), Nikon D80 or Olympus E-520?

Also, should I get a kit lens with what I buy, or a 50 mm prime lens? There are currently Dslr lenses or ANY / Slr Cameras. My camera is a Canon Powershot A560.

When it comes to DSLR I would go for Canon or Nikon and Olympus. They simply have more lenses and other accessories to choose from. Canon has sold a large number of cameras in the last two years and learned that they are having quality problems now. Personally I have a Nikon I am very satisfied. My friends have Canons that work well too. Since Canon and Nikon both make very good pictures my advice is to go to a camera store and try them. Are you comfortable with the controls? Is the camera menu structure logical? and so on. When it comes to lenses that are probably better off with the Nikon 18-135 game because this goal is very versatile to use. If you want to invest some money in a real good lens should consider this: Nikon AF-S 24-70mm f/2.8G ED (unfortunately, in the range of $ 1600). Cheers, Chris
