Management and choice of tripod

If possible, use a tripod all the time. Tripods are a valuable aid for crisp imaging and surprise you when compared to the sharpness that you get with your camera on a tripod, compared with photographs taken of his hand. If you do not like carrying a tripod, try at least a mono pod or a mini tripod. If you are in the complex situation, you can support a tree or a solid structure to minimize movement of the camera.

My advice is always using the camera system support. Buy the best in the beginning so that you do not have to upgrade soon. From Now I have two Monopods and tripods. For light work, I always carry the 678B Monopod mine.

I recommend that you use the carbon fiber tripod as a first and permanent option. Carbon fiber is lightweight and strong and is perfect for travel photography. Tripod with metal legs / support can be a problem in the hot Sun If you want shoot in the snow and ice in the future, metal tripods can also be a pain.

Buy a tripod and the legs can expand to at least level his eyes. The legs of the tripod should be able to extend very low and wide. Make sure the tripod legs are fat as possible this means there is less tendency to tremble.

To see if a spirit bubble level is built into the tripod. This is adequate to ensure that the camera is level. Try the mechanism leg lock, for me, I prefer the twist lock is pretty good. Over time, the lock mechanism to weaken and slip the ball.

Some helpful guide to the use of tripods

Avoid extending the center column of your tripod. Doing so increases the movement of the camera. If possible, keep the center column down. By extending the tripod legs should extend the first big sections. For more below the tripod, push the smaller legs. The smallest tripod legs are weak.

Do not bring or carry your tripod by holding the center column extended. If you do causing the socket to loosen the center column of your tripod to tremble in use.

If possible, always out of your tripod legs. This configuration will more stable. The tripods are having more changing pads on various surfaces, rubber shoes for slippery surfaces and soft ground lug tip.

To avoid camera shake when you press the shutter using a cable release to use. If you can not use the self-timer control.
