Anyone know of a good lens on a Sony Digital Slr Camera with a wide aperture to achieve nice depth of field?

I am also a bit on a budget and looking for the best match of my money. Thanks.

You can find a Minolta lens For achieving a large aperture depth nice countryside, fine call selective depth of field, as in very little with the large aperture or a large depth of field using small f / stops (small opening.) If you want to work with bokeh then something like a 50mm f/1.4 or 85mm f/1.4 will do that for you. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/463922-REG/Sony_SAL85F14Z_SAL_85F14Z_85mm_f_1_4_Carl.html http:// http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/439160-REG/Sony_SAL50F14_SAL_50F14_50mm_f_1_4_Autofocus.html www.kenrockwell.com / tech / bokeh.htm As you can see, Sony and Minolta lenses are quite expensive, one reason why many photographers buy Nikon and Canon .. the list of available and used new targets at a reasonable cost is incredible. See if you can find something good to use Minolta lenses in focal lengths. Try craigslist in a city near you '
