Does anyone know if the Sony Hdr-SR7 camcorder works with Macintosh computers?

I have a Sony HDR-SR7 camcorder and does not seem to work with my MacBook Pro Can anyone help or give me some information about it, thank you very much

The Sony HDR-SR7 is a degree of consumption, based on the hard drive, AVCHD camcorder HD file type. The MTS files created by this camcorder can be used by Macintosh computers, under certain conditions … The computer must be running an Intel CPU – The MacBook Pro does that. The version of iMovie '08 should be or higher. We have said that the version you are using. As a Sony hard drive camcorder consumer does not have a firewire port. Connect the camcorder with the supplied USB cable and the camcorder connected to your AC adapter and "PC" or "Play" mode, the camcorder HDD is mounted as any other external mass storage device. Firewire is normally found only in a MiniDV tape (And Digital8) camcorders. Copy the MTS files to the Mac (check the end of the manual for the directory path). Launch iMovie, the video project name, select the type of video and select the project target movie file. Click "Create." Drag the multilateral system in the log file and capture area
