so I bought a Canon XTi, ok take pictures of the sky with the kit lens (18-55mm) which helps me to take better photos? A. buy a telescope and camera attatching .. (If yes, what size telescope) B. buying a lens Exspensive really, if so, what? I look forward to something that can make great pictures with a big zoom, then shooting the stars and the moon .. I have a remote control and tripod camera, I'm wanting to get closer to the stars .. i have a x2 tele aim of adapting to any of these … thanks in advance!

For more up in the sky, then a new zoom lens might help. In addition, you may know already, but ouside to take photos in darker areas lit have to put it on a tripod and adjust the shutter speed to slow. I can use a Nikon D60, but the concept remains the same. I would suggest http://www.ritzcameras.com looking glasses.
