Timer Remote Switch

Timer Remote Switch
Why is my VCR player stays on?

I live near a police station with some kind of large communications antenna Moffet Field and Lockheed also is not too far from me .. Could this have something to do with it? Already ruled out the timer function. When a piece of aluminum foil tape over the infrared sensor will remain off, but once it is extracted to be put off again usually within a hour or two. I considered the possibility of my neighbors television remote control shot her, but I do not think it would be strong enough to penetrate the walls from across the street. Or maybe Comcast is fired with inhalation devices? I myself do not even use a remote control on this dvd player. Hmmm

keep OK in FIRST …. is obvious that the IR sensor IR is pick up a signal …. NEXT ….. RF communication signals are IR NO …. so forget about the police and Moffet Field and scenarios …. And I'll Lockheed REMOTE Suppose your battery has been removed …. so there is a button stuck in the distance …. But I bet you have a lamp fluorescent in the room …. These lamps generate IR, along with …. Visible light or may have a neon screen …. The fact is the IR (infrared) receiver is picking up part of the light source …. no radio waves. So ….. has energy saving fluorescent bulbs in your room? They are most likely the source. Y yes, you can turn for hours before they actually developed the "ON / OFF" command to "tricks" on your VCR. I've seen this problem more televisions Toshiba …. gives a strong fear of people when your TV is turned on by itself.
